About Us

Impact Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created with a simple but powerful mission: to ensure every child in Missoula has the opportunity to grow through positive, life-enriching experiences. Too many kids in our community face barriers that keep them from joining extracurricular programs that build confidence, friendships, and life skills—and we’re here to change that.

The need is great. In Missoula, nearly 18% of children live in poverty—about 4,000 kids. More than 30% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, showing how many families are already struggling to cover basic needs. On top of that, for every one child in Montana enrolled in an after-school program, four more would join if space and funding were available. These numbers paint a clear picture: thousands of kids are missing out.

Extracurricular opportunities—like sports, summer camps, arts, and leadership programs—aren’t just fun. They improve academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, and boost self-esteem. Yet, without access, many children are left behind.

That’s where Impact Kids Foundation steps in. We work to remove financial barriers so every child can participate, no matter their family’s income. Through scholarships and community partnerships, we are building a future where every child has the chance to discover their passions, develop resilience, and create a brighter tomorrow.
